Bitcoin ETF Inflows Snap 10-Day Losing Streak With $221 Million Haul
Bitcoin ETF inflows are back. US spot Bitcoin funds pulled in $221.7 million in a single day, snapping a 10-day outflow streak and posting their largest daily haul in two months. The reversal follows a dismal June — the worst month on record for the products, Investing News reported.
Ether funds joined the turn. Spot Ethereum ETFs added $20.66 million the same day, led by BlackRock’s ETHA at $23.29 million. Bitcoin traded near $63,600 on Monday, down slightly on the day, after testing $64,400 — a level it has failed to break twice this month. Bulls are watching the June 15 peak of $67,250 as the next ceiling.
Why Bitcoin ETF inflows matter now
Flows are the cleanest read on institutional appetite. Ten straight days of redemptions told a story of professional money stepping back from a market rattled by war headlines and a steep drawdown from last year’s levels. One strong day does not reverse that story. It does suggest sellers exhausted themselves at prices the buyers found acceptable.
The macro backdrop stays hostile. The Gulf conflict keeps risk appetite fragile, a dynamic this publication examined when weekend trading became a war signal. Crypto still trades as a threat gauge as much as an asset class.
Institutions keep building anyway
Structural news continues beneath the price action. Vanguard — long crypto’s loudest institutional sceptic — is hiring a head of digital assets to lead strategy across tokenization, stablecoins, custody and blockchain infrastructure. A $10 trillion asset manager refusing to touch Bitcoin ETFs while quietly staffing a digital-asset unit says more about the industry’s direction than any single day of flows.
Prediction market Polymarket has meanwhile applied to offer positions that are not fully collateralized, following rival Kalshi’s March authorization — another sign that regulated crypto-adjacent finance keeps expanding regardless of price weather.
Whether the streak-breaking inflow marks a bottom or a pause, the infrastructure being laid this month will outlast this week’s chart.
